About the Sales Engineer – Service Provider & Major Accounts

You will join a rapidly expanding market leader and work with the Account Management team to jointly achieve sales targets for Service Provider and Major Accounts. Performing as a trusted advisor, you will use your excellent technical skills to evaluate a customer’s ‘pain points’ before devising a Technical and Commercial Value Proposition to present, in collaboration with multiple departments.    




  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Service Provider and Major Accounts technical domains
  • Perform technical presentations, Solution proposals for rfp
  • Contribute to the company’s technical community, share best practices and develop then maintain and expert knowledge  of the company’s solutions, utilising training provided
  • Articulate the technical and business value to engage with customers and influence their decision making




  • 5+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales role with minimum 3 years in a Vendor environment
  • Expertise in OSI model layer 2-7
  • Deep knowledge of IP & HTTP protocols and proxies
  • Background in Implementation / Maintenance of IP networks (Routing, Switching, Load Balancing)
  • Awareness of standards and certifications related to 3GPP, IETF, ESTI, USGA, RFC, EAL
  • Application Delivery Vendor and DDoS solutions knowledge is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of DPI is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of VMWare or Hyper-V is highly desirable
