About the ASEAN Channels Manager

You will report director to the Channels Director with a mandate to achieve growth with targets partners across the ASEAN region. This will involve a blend of enabling established partners to be fully proficient and able to support customers, as well as expanding the partner network.



Key Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition to partners, ensuring that the Partners are motivated to sell and have a sales strategy in place
  • Manage the Partner’s commitment at all levels
  • Develop a Business plan that will complement the Partner’s strategy and mutually agree a growth plan
  • Effectively deliver and execute the business plan covering aspects such as sales enablement, technical and marketing
  • Demonstrate strong relationship management skills in your ability to ensure the business plan is implemented successfully with all relevant stakeholders (Sales Engineers, Marketing, Account Managers)
  • Be fully conversant on the Products and Solutions and be able to train Partner sales teams on the portfolio in a one2one or seminar environment
  • Develop / roll out new and / or existing programs to Partners to create new opportunities
  • Reinforce the Partner program criteria and drive all Partners to attain the skills levels required and beyond
  • Maintain a sales forecast across your Partners and have deal visibility of all unmanaged opportunities

Desired Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in a Channels Manager role within a Vendor, ideally a Security Vendor
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Working to targets, prioritising workload and managing own schedule
  • Able to travel extensively

  • Involved in executive planning and account relationship mapping strategies to instigate and eventually build the relationship with the customers
  • Confident and comfortable with client’s interactions

  • Confident and articulate speaking at all levels
  • Willing to learn new messaging and able to incorporate this into new Partner training and messaging
  • Organized and pragmatic in approach to tasks and targets
