Job description

About the Business Development Manager

  • You will possess an outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills and be motivated by generating, qualifying and securing new business opportunities.

  • Ability to sell effectively to both Technical and Business leaders

  • Excellent verbal and written including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills are mandatory

  • Excellent knowledge of the latest Security trends and technologies

  • Have the experience to provide thought leadership for all engagements with customers

  • Strength in overcoming objections and be adept in accelerating the completion of the sales cycle

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and grow profitable business relationships with existing accounts and prospects

  • Collaborate with the Security Consultant team to ensure customer success and account penetration opportunities are maximised

  • Use strong business development capabilities to identify a carefully selected strategic prospect list and work to qualify, develop and build a credible pipeline

  • Devise and implement strong account management strategies that are clearly communicated to the Security Consultants and Senior Management

  • Present regular reports on sales forecasts, progress against targets and strategic objectives

  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and events                          

Experience

  • Extensive experience in Solution Selling, using an intimate knowledge of the Security landscape to engage with customers on a technical level and address future concepts, products and technologies

  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with Consultants to leverage existing account relationships

  • History of Penetration Testing and / or Vulnerability Assessment is highly desirable, but not essential
