Jay set up SearchElect with the foundation of his passion for building. He thinks beyond skin surface and has never-ending curiosity on how things build and operate. He loves working with people and have innate social skills that compliment the industry perfectly. Jay’s recipe for building SearchElect are these passions, along with his desire for excellence and continual improvement to deliver a recruitment service which was superior and met the needs of an evolving market.

He started working very early in his family business where he developed insight into the commitment and responsibility of running a business. His first real job was in banking; after 4 years he moved into recruitment and felt at home easily as it was a business with flat hierarchy and growth was driven through meritocracy. He then spent 6 years recruiting in the UK and subsequently 9 years recruiting in Singapore across both contract and permanent recruitment exclusively within the tech market.

What is switch off mode for Jay? Hopping onto his sofa for a marathon of Daredevil, Mad Men, Narcos, Game of Thrones, and the list goes on...



Danica Pagsisihan

Danica is a Technology Recruitment Consultant with over 8 years of solid talent acquisition exposure in Asia. She started her journey in Philippines within the Business Process Outsourcing industry, worked as an associate in an agency and became an in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist for a top Global Outsourcing company. Driven by new areas of opportunities and growth, she took the opportunity from SearchElect to work outside of her comfort zone. She spent 6 years of contingent recruitment in Singapore purely within the Technology market.

She took up Psychology with the desire to understand how and why people react the way they do. She has always been keen to understand and genuinely get to know people. To make a living out of that is a great pleasure for her. Being in Singapore opened her eyes into the global market, and broadened her perspective in life.

Fun fact: Danica likes multiplayer mobile games and old school real time strategy computer games. She built her “stronghold level” in Game of War twice to level 15 (highest is 21) and sold her account to other gamers for SGD 300 each.


Hariz Chan

Hariz is a sales professional covering the APAC and ANZ region. He is a Singaporean who was brought up in England. After completing his education in UK, he started his career with one of the major blue chip companies in Europe. 

He was promoted twice in his first year and was the youngest manager to cover one of the most important regions. Hariz expanded the business by managing corporate and SME accounts across London and the UK Southern region; he led teams of sales executives in both retail and field sales. After spending some time in the UK, he decided to return to Singapore and venture into the recruitment industry with a retainer firm 6 years ago. He has successfully placed many senior roles across different industries for his clients since and most recently worked for a technology recruitment firm partnering with tech startups and companies who are expanding to Asia and ANZ.

Having lived and travelled in Europe for many years and worked for a European MNC, he has developed his international corporate experience from a very young age and has a network of contacts from various trade and professions to enhance his capability to be an effective recruitment partner with various clients in this industry.



Amrit Kaur

Amrit started her career as an auxiliary police officer and ventured into the recruitment world 7 years ago with experience spanning from Technology, Banking, Security, Construction and the Oil & Gas Industry.

Well‐versed as a full 360 recruiter, Amrit is committed to providing a standard of excellence which includes the complete approach of recruitment by increasing her knowledge base through continuous research and growing her network in the Technology space. 

Throughout her recruitment journey, she has provided her clients with niche talents for direct, consulting and contract hire and has successfully placed talents in Forbes listed companies.

Coming from a background in Psychology, Amrit believes in connecting and building a bond with her clients and candidates in this region. She enjoys travelling and also spends her time volunteering with the Jane Goodall Institute. Amrit believes that being citizens of the Earth, we have the responsibility to take care of it and the creatures that walk upon it.


Daryl Thong

Recruitment Consultant

Daryl is a recruitment consultant specialising in security and data analytics. With an academic background in Psychology, History and English Literature, Daryl enjoys learning and gleaming insight multiple perspectives. He has an avid interest in Industrial Organizational Psychology specifically in the areas of selection, retention and organization development.

This interest spills over to his job as he is tenacious in aiding his clients and candidates to obtain the best possible ‘fit’. Being able to meet new people and learn from them, makes his career a rewarding experience.

Interesting tidbit: Daryl is a foodie and enjoys cooking. To burn off those calories, he engages in martial arts. 20% for the workout, 80% for the adrenaline rush.



Fay May Su

Fay May is a recruitment consultant specialising in the telco market. As a professional counsellor, May enjoys helping people bridge the gap towards finding what they want in life. She is also keen in the ever-changing technological world with her up-close experience with the telco space and start-up scene.

Being part of the SearchElect family, she hopes to understand more from candidates on their needs and walking together with them on their career journeys to reach their potential.

Fun fact: May is an exotic food seeker and has an interest in pole dancing for fitness.



Dante Aboga

Dante has more than 7 years of experience working as a web/online researcher. He started as a Content Researcher for an executive search firm, after which he upskilled his expertise in Boolean Searching techniques at his next company. Dante is a guru in conducting deep web-based research for different recruiting firms across a variety of industries. He has effectively coordinated and provided support to Senior Recruiters in Philippines, the US and now here at SearchElect.

Dante is very active in sports such as basketball and usually participates in marathons for a good cause.

Trivia: Dante can miss video calling his girlfriend but won’t miss out playing basketball and going to church every week.
